MINIATURE HIGHLAND COW
Hope & Nash
Hope & Nash
Hope and Nash became fast friends on our farm! It’s interesting that GHF Hope is a registered heifer with the AHCA (presumably referring to the American Hereford Cattle Association) with the registration number AHCA #60651. On the other hand, Just Nash is an unregistered steer, but he comes from purebred registered stock and is recorded with the AHCA as #U13365.
Having registered cattle like GHF Hope can be beneficial because it provides a documented pedigree and ensures certain breed characteristics. Unregistered cattle like Just Nash may not have the same official recognition but can still have desirable traits if they come from registered ancestry.
Overall, it sounds like you will have a diverse and interesting mix of cattle on your farm!
